Abstract: Lyndon Baines Johnson biographer, Robert Caro, chronicles LBJ's U.S. Senate years (1950-1960) in this, the third volume of his ongoing biography of Lyndon Johnson. Mr. Caro's previous writings have earned him the Pulitzer Prize in Biography, the Francis Parkman Prize by the Society of American Historians, and twice the National Book Critics Circle Award.
