The Information

The webcast event details page is a comprehensive list of all the information associated with a particular event. The page will display any of the following fields, depending on their availability in the record:

• title
• speaker(s)
• date(s) and time
• sponsoring organization or department
• location
• event duration (actual or planned)
• a summary or abstract
• additional Web links for more information

Watching the Event

Archived Events [Simple]
Archived events, once the media is available for streaming, will show one or more format icons at the end of the details page. Click the format you prefer (and that your computer supports) to watch the stream.

Archived Events [Multi-Part]
Some events (especially multi-day events or lecture series) may be broken into multiple parts for easy incremental viewing. In this case, the main event details page will list each segment in order; click a segment title to view a separate details page or watch the segment's media stream(s).

Live Events (Today)
Just as on the main page, links to the live streams will be available 20 minutes prior to the event's scheduled start time. Even though the links will be available, the live stream may not start until the time is closer to the scheduled start time. The links will remain available through the scheduled duration plus an additional 20 minutes.
